Tasty Treats To Celebrate Easter Sunday

By Jessica Leave a Comment

Spring is finally here and with spring comes bright colors, mild weather and of course the well-loved Easter bunny. Does Easter bring back fond memories for you of gooey chocolate centered bunnies and festive rainbow colored eggs? Most of us have great memories of these special Easter activities and the delicious treats that go along with them. Are you looking to make your Easter extra special this year with a table full of delicious treats? If you can’t wait to get in the kitchen and dazzle your family then here are some fantastic ideas for your Easter table. Whether you’re putting on a big dinner for the extended family or you’re just entertaining your little group you can find some pretty amazing Easter treats that will please even the pickiest eater.

Remember Easter doesn’t just have to be about the candy instead try starting off your table with a great array of spring time vegetables. Want to jazz it up so it’s not just the same old veggie and dip tray? Try this cute bread bowl idea with its cute Easter bunny design! Getting your veggies has never sounded so good. In fact you might think your little ones have turned into rabbits themselves as they hop to devour their veggies from this tray.

Starting off your Easter celebration with fun foods is a great way to really get the party started. Try adding these super cute and tasty deviled eggs to your Easter table. Your guest will be ready to get cracking on your appetizer table when they see these little chicks just peeking out of their shells.

Little and big bunnies alike will love these delicious and sweet strawberry treats. They may look like carrots but there is no hiding the wonderful taste of candy coated strawberries. You may even like to cover these in white chocolate instead and just add a little bit of orange food coloring during the melting process.

With honey or maple soft bread rolls are always a great snack for the Easter table and what will make them an even better treat is when they look as good as they taste. These super cute bunny rolls are easy to make and scrumptious to eat.

Of course for Easter you can’t beat the sweat treats and just like the Easter Bunny brings baskets of goodies you can bring yummy goodness to your table with some of these great dessert and sweat snack items.

This classic take on a traditional Smore will make you smile. How serving up some Smores in your favorite Easter colors accomplished by using one of Easters classic candies. Put those marshmallow peeps to good use in these tasty peep Smores.

Even though these lovely birds nest are so easy to make your guest will never suspect because they taste wonderful and look delightful. These birds’ nests also combine two ingredients that never can go wrong in a dessert, chocolate and peanut butter.

You might also consider this portable version of the classic carrot cake. Instead of taking a time out from the festivities to slice and serve the cake simply set these carrot cake cookies with cream cheese frosting on your table and watch them walk away with your guests.

If baking really isn’t your thing but you still want to surprise your guest with a super cute dessert, try these Oreo cookie bunny truffles. Made with only a few ingredients you won’t believe how simple these are to make, and how wonderful they taste as well.

Everyone will enjoy the thought and effort you put into the wonderful food you have prepared and you will enjoy seeing all of their delighted and amazed faces as they enjoy fun food and great taste.
